Our Committee has decided there will be no increase in Membership Fees for the coming year. We invite you to renew your GHTC membership for 2010-11 by 30 June 2010 (if you renew after 30 June 2010 an extra $20 for admin costs will apply).

 

Renewal fees are:                  Adult: $165   Under 21 years: $90    Family: $330                         Midweek: $125

 

Any donations for court resurfacing will also be greatly appreciated. We urge you to pay by direct credit to our Club’s Account (Glen Huntly Tennis Club BSB No. 013260 Account No. 8636257). Use a computer or deposit/transfer at your bank and please include a Reference for our Club’s Bank Statement of [Your Name]/fees.

Bruce Parks, an active player, Life Member and former Club Committee member recently passed away. Bruce frequently made financial donations and has left us a beautiful set of historical tennis racquets which are now on display in the Clubhouse.

 

A former member of our Club, Szeto Kok Yin, has made a generous donation in honour of Club Secretaries including Bruce Parks. On Sunday July 25^th (11am to 4pm) we will have a Secretaries Day with organised social tennis (small prizes), barbeque and afternoon tea.

 

We are still working to resurface the courts, But securing grants is a problem mainly because the Council has put us low on their priority list for grants from a State Government/Tennis Victoria fund.

 

Working bees will be 11am on 6 June, 1 August and 24 October this year. The Annual General Meeting will be 15 August 1pm (please bring plate to share & social tennis from 2pm).

 

New members are important. Our website www.ghtc.com.au has an application form. Our fees are the renewal rates plus $40 for singles & $80 for families (for admin & court keys). Also note Visitor fees are $10 per player visiting. Light fees are $20 per court used per hour.
